Onboarding your site

Onboarding links your primary domain to your account and starts the first set of core scans. It takes two steps: Your website and Scan progress.

Prerequisites

Signed-in account (Create account)
A public website URL (e.g. https://example.com)

Step 1 — Your website

Route: /onboarding/start

Confirm your Email (read-only, from your account).
Enter your Website URL. Use the full URL including https://.
Click Start scan.

The console creates a workspace for your domain and queues core pipelines:

SEO crawl
Site quality (lab audit)
Content quality
Google SERP rank tracking

You are redirected to the scan progress page.

Step 2 — Scan progress

Route: /onboarding/scan

While scans run you see:

Active scans panel — live progress per pipeline via WebSocket
Email verification — if your email is not yet verified, enter the code sent to your inbox and accept the EULA before continuing

When the first core pipeline produces results, the UI celebrates with confetti and marks the scan as ready.

The console then automatically completes onboarding and opens Keyword Research (/keyword-research).

If a scan fails

If one or more scans fail, the page shows an error state with Retry scan. Fix any domain or connectivity issues, then retry.

If you see an unauthorized message, refresh the page and sign in again — the workspace session may have expired.

After onboarding

Your primary domain is stored on the workspace.
Core scorecards populate as each pipeline completes.
Optional features (backlinks, AI citations, keyword research projects, tech stack) are available from their nav pages.
