Refresh data and re-run scans
Most feature pages load data from your workspace’s latest pipeline runs. Two global actions control how that data updates.
Refresh data
Section titled “Refresh data”Refresh data (in the page Refresh menu) re-runs the Athena query for the current page. It does not start new scans.
Use it when:
- A background scan finished and you want the scorecard to reflect new results
- You navigated away during a scan and returned after completion
Refresh is fast — typically seconds — because it reads already-ingested data.
Re-run all scans
Section titled “Re-run all scans”Re-run all scans triggers all core onboarding pipelines again for your primary domain:
- SEO crawl
- Site quality
- Content quality
- Google SERP ranks
Use it when:
- You shipped significant site changes and want a full re-crawl
- You suspect stale data after a failed partial run
Re-run is asynchronous. Watch the scan status banner and active scans panel for progress. Pages update after each pipeline completes and you refresh data.
Optional pipeline runs
Section titled “Optional pipeline runs”Some features are not included in re-run all:
| Feature | How to run |
|---|---|
| Backlinks | Run backlinks scan on the Backlinks page |
| AI Citations | Run AI citations scan on the AI Citations page |
| Keyword Research | Run research inside a project |
| Tech stack | Run tech scan on the Tech stack page |
Each optional run is documented in its feature guide.
Sign-in and keyword research
Section titled “Sign-in and keyword research”Keyword research Run research must be started while signed in. Background processing after the SERP sync requires your session refresh token. If post-processing fails with an auth error, sign out, sign in again, and run research again.
Live updates
Section titled “Live updates”Scan progress streams over WebSocket — you do not need to manually refresh the active scans panel. Scorecard numbers still require Refresh data after a pipeline completes.
